Umana is our small contribution to the sustainability of our planet. Our way to help achieve this objective is by producing as locally as possible, in a traditional handcrafted manner with the added value of applying natural, sustainable and ecological materials.
Producing locally in Spain and Portugal, allows us to guarantee a fundamental value, the Human Quality (“Calidad Humana”) throughout good working standards, high skills level and fair wages.
We take care of production, minimizing the exploitation of natural resources and minimizing the emissions of CO2 or polluting particles into the atmosphere. The evolution of Umana will have as its main axis the proximity between production and end consumer to reduce our carbon footprint.
Our line of jute and sustainable fibers sneakers is a modern process with roots from the past that preserves the essence, tradition and craftsmanship of centuries of history.
Our t-shirts line is made in Portugal, with the highest standard of organic cotton.
With Umana we are starting a journey with the clear objective of contributing to an increasingly sustainable environment. Would you join us?
